Nayla Moawad is a Lebanese female politician and the window of former Lebanese President René Moawad.
Nayla Moawad was born on the 3rd of July 1940.
Nayla Moawad became a widow after her husband Rene Moawad got assassinated on 22nd of November 1989.
The couple have a son named Michel Moawad who later became part of the Political scene in Lebanon.
Since the year 1991, Nayla Moawad became a member of the National Assembly.
Nayla Moawad held the post of a MP and was among the first female members of Parliament in Lebanon.
In the summer of 2005, Nayla Moawad became the Minister for Social Affairs in Lebanon.
