Le Crazy Horse Paris, the “sexiest & the most sensual show in the world”, will be present at Casino Du Liban (Salle Des Ambassadeurs) from 7th till 19th June 2011.
Fanoos tried to contact the organizers in France to see if the show in Lebanon would be loyal to its original version, or if it will be rather adapted (or shall we say ‘disfigured’) to suit the Lebanese public, but we got no response. Both Aline Jumeaux (Marketing & Communication) and Anissa Dilmi (Evenements Exterieurs) were apparently too busy to reply to our emails… Yes we know, how very professional 😉 We went anyway on June 9th, and it seemed as close to how we remembered it from previous shows. At least it had the most famous scenes, such as the cult military dance, the lip shaped couch solo dance, the group pole dance with rectangular shaped light scanning the bodies of the girls up and down in a very artistic way, etc… Overall it was a good show except for minor dance and performance errors by some of the girls (we don’t think they sent out their best to conquer the world!). If you are going to take the cheapest seats ie 100$ tickets don’t sit at the last tables but at the nearest to the stage, otherwise you won’t really enjoy it, especially since because of its nature and light effects it sometimes feels as if you are watching it on TV and not in a live performance.
The Casino’s Salle Des Ambassadeurs seating area still looks like its old classical self, not sure of this is a good thing or a bad thing as you feel transported back in time. The food was rather stale that night too, but we were too busy and excited watching the show, we didn’t really care.
We saw Dominique Hourani that night (we are seeing her everywhere lately), and after the show we asked her as we were walking out what she thought and she said she really liked it. Maybe was she there for some inspiration for her next video?…

Le Crazy Horse de Paris is located in an old beautiful Haussmanian building at 12 Avenue George Cinq France, and became mostly known for its classy shows, in which the nude dancers are ‘dressed’ with light. Alain Bernardin opened it in 1951 and operated it until his death in 1994. Under new management, and with Philippe Decouflé as choreographer, Le Crazy Horse de Paris started featuring famous artists such as Dita Von Teese, Carmen Electra, Aria Cascaval, Arielle Dombasle or Pamela Anderson for a limited number of shows…
