So what will it be, one-piece or two-piece swimsuit? Beachwear for women splits into different styles… The one piece models might seem more conservative, but have recently made a comeback. They are not necessarily less sexy, as some models can show more back or even more cleavage, and are totally in line with the latest designer swimsuit trends. Their strong point is that a woman can show her best assets while concealing her less flattering sides. Depending on the design, they sometimes also give a certain class and sophistication.

The sexiest models are the ones that seem like two pieces joined in the middle into one. With the proper eyewear and a chic hat, you will look like a VIP on a boat cruise! Don’t forget to hold a martini glass, and make sure to wear high heels by the pool side. The retro glamour of the Sixties has also inspired the latest collections for 2011, which bears a vintage feel. But as a general rule, if you’re into swimming, definitely get a full one-piece. For shorter women, one-piece suits with a plunging neckline are said to give you a taller appearance. A high cut on the thigh area will also make your legs look much longer.

Similarly to the men’s speedo, bikini designs obviously are better for sun tanning. If you have a gorgeous body, then make sure to pick out a tiny designer bikini like Tori Praver swimwear. If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Isn’t that what they say??This style also lets you pick a piece for each part of your body independently to cater for its specific needs. If you are small on top for example, you can choose a model with extra padding, or that bears contrasting patterns. Although some experts recommend you go for a ‘bandeau’ shaped top, we feel the separation will better enhance your look.

No matter your body shape, you can always use a sarong (pareo or Hawaiian wrap) as an extra accessory! Don’t forget the ankle bracelet and the sunglasses. …and of course don’t forget to bring your tanning lotion with you. For best results, drink a few glasses of carrot juice everyday for one week prior to your sun tanning sessions. Also keep drinking water the whole time you are in the sun, and avoid peak hours between 11am-3pm.
