Habib Haddad is the co-founder of Language Analytics LLC., the company behind Yamli, a web-based transliteration tool and search engine that solves the problem of many Arab users who don’t have an Arabic keyboard or who aren’t as comfortable typing in Arabic.
During the Egyptian revolution that toppled Hosni Mubarak’s regime in 2011, Habib Haddad played a big role in lobbying for the release of Wael Ghonim.
Wheteher a similar revolution could take place in Lebanon to end the sectarian regime, Habib Haddad says : “In Leb we don’t need street rev,we need mind rev = B4 anything else,we need to make ppl believe & want change!…we first need to revolt in our hearts before we think of going to the streets…”
