Ahmad Abdalla is a film director who was born in Cairo, Egypt in the year 1978.
Abdalla studied classic music and film directing during the nineties. He began his career in movie making as an editor for commercial movies and documentaries.
In 2002, he started working in movies as an editor. He also worked as a visual effects supervisor.
In the year 2009, Ahmad Abdallah featured his movie Heliopolis for the first time during the Toronto Film Festival.
Ahmad won Best 1st Screenplay Award of Sawiris Foundation in Cairo 2008 for his movie Heliopolis.
A year later, he screened his 2010 movie entitled Microphone. A different type of movie starring Khaled Abol Naga and Menna Shalabi.
