Georges Hachem is a Lebanese Director.
Georges Hachem, also written George el Hashem, became more widely know after directing in 2010 his first feature film Stray Bullet (Balle Perdue – Rsasa Tayshe), a movie starring Nadine Labaki.
Georges Hachem won the Muhr Arab Feature First Prize award for “Rsasa Tayshe” during the Closing Night Muhr Awards Ceremony on day eight of the 7th Annual Dubai International Film Festival held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex on December 19, 2010 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Formerly trained in performing arts at the Lebanese University, Georges Hachem graduated from the Ecole Nationale Louis Lumiere in France.
Before his breakthrough, George Hashem conducted training workshops in film and actor directing both in Beirut and Paris. He had also staged several plays and directed several short films.
