Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of the Republic of India for fifteen years. Her full name Indira Priyadarshiniis Gandhi.
She ruled from the years 1966 till 1977, then for another period she rules from 1980 until her assassination in 1984.
Indira Gandhi was born on the 19th of November 1917 and she died on the 31st of October 1984.
Indira Gandhi was the first only female Prime Minister for India.
