Beirut Trade Center, known as Burj Al Murr Tower, is a tall building not far from the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut.
Beirut Trade Center was for a while the Tallest Building in Beirut’s landscape, up until the arrival of new competitors such as Sama Beirut Tower and Marina Towers Beirut.
The construction of Burj Al Murr Tower, a 40-storey skyscraper of 140 meters, began in 1970. The project was never really completed because of the civil war.
Solidere still has the building in their Masterplan, but the final fate of Al Murr Tower is uncertain; They will either demolish or renovate it.
