Fadia Tomb El-Hage (aka Fadia El Hajj Tomb) is a Lebanese soprano singer, she is one of the TriOrient Tomb sisters which include Ronza and Amal Tomb. She is the sister of celebrity Samir Tomb.
Fadia Tomb El-Hage’s singing bears traits of both Eastern and Western techniques. She began her career with the Rahbani brothers in Lebanon, before temporarily moving to Germany where she took up professional classical singing at the Richard-Strauss State conservatory of Munich. After obtaining her opera singing diploma, she specializes in oratorio chant.
In 24 July 2003, Fadia traveled to Belgium where she participated in a revival ceremony of an operatic classical play in which five pieces of music for the musicians of the sixteenth century, including the Italian Monteverde and other veterans, were played. The leading piece was entitled “memory” and she was accompanied by a Belgian group consisting of 40 members in addition to the orchestra.
Fadia Tomb also traveled to the Netherlands and the south of France where she recorded a tape documentary tape called “Mowashah El Harem”, which included her Beit el Din festival concert.
Fadia was a judge on the Talent Show Arab Super Star along with Elias Rahbani. She later left the program to concentrate on her music.
