Ibrahim Eissa is one of Egypt’s best-known journalists.
Ibrahim Eissa worked as the editor of the opposition daily newspaper al-Dustour until it was bought by El Sayed El Badawi, a business tycoon and leader of al-Wafd, one of the parties among the Egyptian opposition.
Ibrahim Eissa was sacked within months of the takeover, preceding the resignation of a number of other editorial staff members in the paper.
