The Arabic song that stood out the most in 2010 is unarguably Ayez Aghanny. The melody, the beat, the music arrangement, everything was new and different in it. Not to mention it was also the debut song of its interpreter. Below is our list of Best Arabic Songs for 2010.

Top 10 Best Arabic Songs 2010:

– Ayez Aghanny by Kareem Wagdy
– Yama Layali by Hayfa Wehbeh remix David Vendetta
– Ya Ayesh by Eslam Singer
– Michta2 by Maya Nehmeh

– Layali by Angham

Other great Arabic songs were released in 2010, including Ad’y Aleik by Khaled Selim, and Msabba3 el Karat by Saad Ramadan. They both represent traditional Arabic music arranged in a contemporary modern style. Soma also released a really nice song called Da Habibi, which was close to making it to our final top 10 list were it not for the way her voice slips and squeaks at certain points, which messed up the experience for us:(

Nourhanne also made a good come back, with the dance track Beirut Never Sleeps (Khodny) along with DJ Osane.

In 2010, a few good English tracks were also released by Arab singers, such as Mission Is You by Lara Scandar, Stand Up by Hindi Zahra, or even Taste of Life by Lumi.

Fairuz also released in 2010 a good Oriental Jazz Album (Eh Fi Amal), with a few new songs.

Other songs received a good echo in the Middle East, including the album Tesabaa Be Meen by romance female singer Elissa.(We didn’t really like it all that much though)

Other artists such as Walid Tawfic, Joseph Attieh, Mai Selim and other singers released great songs too.

Yara released the song El Hekaya and Melhem Barakat released a song called Sayer Kezab.

It is good to note that at the end of 2009 which is also considered as 2010 in the music industry, both Amr Diab and Tamer Hosny had new releases which are still playing as some of the most requested songs of 2010, such as Amr’s song Wayah.
