Dominique Hourani, sometimes written Dominic Hourani or even Dominic Horani is a Lebanese supermodel turned singer.
With the support of her employer Nidal’s Agency, Dominique Hourani won the title of the Miss Intercontinental Pageant 2003, which was held in Germany. With such perfect features and body measures, Dominique modeled for international brands and designers like Dior, Valentino, and Versace.
She then entered into the Arabic pop music industry, riding the wave that her predecessors created; such as Hayfa Wehbeh (Lebanon) and Rouby (Egypt) to name a few.
Her first music release was a video for her song Farfoura (Butterfly) in 2005. The video depicted a silly Lolita like butterfly in mini skirt, followed by sexy bikini shots. It became obvious the type of market Hourani was targeting. It turned out to be a complete success as Dominique got all the attention she ever dreamed of, and was soon on the A-list of pop stars.
Her following songs, ranged from Shaabi to Indian inspired tunes, always paired with a sexy or provocative videoclip.
After releasing her debut album Atriss, a compilation of all her hit singles, another one followed in 2008 called Kermalik Ya Dominique.
Her recent work is a duo with Ali Eldeyek, also an ethnic shaabi song.
Dominique Hourani ranked 22nd in Top 100 Sexiest Arab Women 2010.
