In Beirut Lebanon, the court has ruled in favor of famous Lebanese singer Najwa Karam, who has filed a big law case against the controvesial journalist Nidal Al Ahmadieh for slandering her.
The court wanted to scentence Nidal Al Ahmadieh for prison, but later fined the famous journalist for the amount of 10 million Lebanese pounds which are equivalent to around 8000 USD.
Gladis Karam, the lawer of Najwa, has filed an appeal. Najwa Karam will be holding a press conference to talk about this issue.
