Mother's Day has been celebrated around the world for thousands of years, to honor mothers and the idea of motherhood. The modern Mothers day takes part at different dates around the world, however it is celebrated around the Spring season.

Mothers day started in The United States in the year 1914 after a campaign by Anna Jarvis. Mothers Day in US and Europe and many countries takes place in the month of May. To be specific it is celebrated in the Second Sunday of May.

In the Middle East, Mothers Day is celebrated on the 21st of March along with Spring season.

In Algeria and France, Mothers day is celebrated on the Last Sunday of the month May.

In India, Mothers day is celebrated as a national day on the 19th of August.
