Job Title: TV Host

Mona Abou Hamzeh (also known as Mona Abu Hamza, Mona Abou Hamze or Mouna Abou Hamzi) is a beautiful Lebanese TV Presenter.

Mona Abou Hamzeh hosts a talk show on Murr Television - MTV Lebanon called Talk of the Town (Hadis el Balad), an adaptation of a French program (Tout le monde en parle).

In the year 2009, Mona Abou Hamzeh got named by Fanoos as one of the Best Female Arab Television presenters in Entertainment. This was confirmed in 2010, when she won the Murex d'Or Award for best TV presenter. Mona also ranked fourteenth in Top 100 Sexiest Arab Women 2010.

Controversy:

In mid 2011, Mona's show ratings were reported to have dropped dramatically (as discussed on Lel Nasher, Al Sharq el Awsat, Laha Magazine and other Arab media,...although no reliable statistics have been shown yet as proof) with the arrival of fresher shows, including that of Rabia Zayat's Wilta2ayna or Rima Karake's program on Future Television. Those other shows were said however to have been crippled with lawsuits to clear the scene in the hopes to save Talk of the Town from its downfall, as explained by their defenders. This created a lot of tension between Mona and her colleagues, who resorted to mocking her by intentionally imitating her (alluding to her hair, her demeanor etc..) on their shows, portraying her as a sore loser who cannot take the competition. This sarcasm along with the hinted "cat-fights" drew in a lot more attention and made the other shows even more popular.
