The beginning of Thermos was limited toonly manufacturing hot water tanks. The company at that time held the nameof ?Velox?. It enjoyed credibility and a good reputation in the regionand was the only factory of its kind in the Middle East. We started exportingour products abroad especially to theGulf Region.In 1987, the firm management was transferred to Mr. Mohammed Itanissons:Mr. Omar Itani is the accountant and financial manager. Mr. Adnan Itaniis the technical manager and a 1988 graduate of Toledo University in theUSA. The third son, Mr. Imad Itani is the industrialist and productionmanager.Since than, Thermos has expanded both horizontally and vertically andthe plant?s area has reached 8000m2 and new production lines have beenopened. Without its credibility and good reputation in both the Lebaneseand Arab world markets, Thermos wouldn?t have been able to accomplish suchan appreciable advancement representing its motto ?Efficiency, Durability,Accuracy.?
