In fact, it will only fulfill the undeclared Israeli goal of collectively expelling the Palestinians from the occupied Palestinian territories and Israel, ridding the Jewish State from the demographic problem, and finally achieving the dream of a Palestinian State in Jordan as a substitute homeland. The truth is that extremism among Arabs and Persians gives momentum to terrorism among the Israelis and the Americans, and that is no coincidence. It is rather, an actual similarity among terrorists even across battlefields, where extremists on both sides need each other to ignite their respective environments.Unfortunately, the munitions for this confrontation are the Palestinian people who have paid and will pay the dear price for this partnership of extremists, and for the incitement of those who loudly cheer quot;Armed Resistance quot;, but only from a safe distance.The solution is not to dissolve the Palestinian Authority, but to dissolve the government and call for new elections through which the Palestinian voter would decide whether he is opting for negotiation or fighting for the creation of a Palestinian State.After the experience of the Islamic Movement of Hamas heading the government, and Hamass attempts to preserve both identities (as movement and as government), the Palestinian people might feel the need to get another chance to decide if they are in favor of negotiations as a means of ending the occupation and the creation of a State, or if the armed resistance is the best available option. This is the question that should be answered now very honestly by the Arabs and the Palestinians.Attempts to mix the two options on the basis of the correlation between both tracks, negotiation and uprising, were not successful. Moreover, the elusion that negotiations are a decoy or an entry to carry out the dream of eliminating Israel will make the Palestinians pay dearly.There is also the suggestion of buying time until the completion of the demographic equation, whereby the Jews become a minority inside Israel; an equation Israel is preparing for. These are mere suggestions floated by some, but not a strategy.If the Palestinian people decide on armed resistance as a means of ending Israeli occupation, the choice should be respected.
